Brand Central Website

In 2017, I established Brand Central in Adobe AEM to empower VMware users to leverage our brand guidelines and assets effectively. Using Adobe AEM, I created a centralized hub that faithfully encapsulated VMware's brand guidelines. Leveraging AEM's features, I ensured consistency across all brand elements, making them readily accessible for marketing and communication purposes.

AEM proved invaluable by eliminating the need for PDF guidelines, instead, integrating them into AEM pages within Brand Central. This streamlined approach facilitated faster updates and eliminated the hassle of managing retired guidelines.

Brand, Self-Service Asset Tool

Since 2014, our Brand team has evolved significantly, unifying siloed groups within VMware to ensure consistent brand usage. Our mission is to support our 20,000+ employees effectively, and we've made impressive progress in achieving this goal with an in house tool developed in AEM.

Providing branded web graphics support for internal teams who lack Adobe expertise and resources for creating simple, on-brand assets like social media posts or email headers. To address this, we developed Brand Self-Service Asset Tool, catering to the growing company's needs and supporting non-designers within the organization.

The tool allows all VMware employees to create branded assets of various sizes, add content, and download them for immediate use. Initially designed for specific email headers and internal communications, it has been expanded to support any branded asset size, offering more versatility for different use cases and sizes.

Microsite Program

Since the launch of the Microsite Program in 2014, We have actively participated in conducting thorough reviews of over 1,500 sites. Each site undergoes meticulous assessment to ensure brand compliance. Approximately 25% of these sites receive comprehensive mock-ups and guidance, meticulously crafted by Brand, to ensure they adhere to VMware's brand standards. Brands keen eye for design and attention to detail contribute to creating visually cohesive and brand-aligned microsites.

Nearly 70% of the sites have been successfully decommissioned or retired, leading to a streamlined portfolio that reflects the optimization efforts of the Microsite Program. Presently, there are 328 live sites
